book review: The Christopher Killer

This book is by far the best book I have ever read. It is all about forensics and crime scenes. The details in this book are so vivid you can almost smell the dead bodies when Cameron, a young forensic science freak, goes to the crime scene to investigate.
Cameron Mahoney reminds me so much of myself. She is super into forensics and crime scenes. She is 17 years old and a Jr. in high school. She  doesn't care much about clothes and pretty things, all she worries about is forensics. Cameron only has one best friend Lyric, a carefree hippie who is all about love and peace. Cameron never quits when it comes to her work, she will  ponder on certain things until she comes up with a logical answer that's the only difference between her and I, I can not sit and ponder until I understand something I do not know why but I have never been able to do that.
Cameron Mahoney is a girl who studies forensics religiously. her father is the county coronor in small town Silverton in Colorado. Earlier on in the book Cameron's father, pat, asked Cameron to work with him as the assistant to the coronor. Of course, Cameron is ecstatic her father would ask her such a thing. Her grandmother is very against her being involved in her fathers business, she is always hiding Cameron's books and throwing them out. Cameron gets called to a crime scene but its a shocker when she gets there, its her best friend that she works with, Rachel. Cameron is devastated but she finds the power in her to work her hardest to find the killer who took her best friend and her co-worker away from her. Cameron narrows three people down as suspects, one the new deputy Crowley who was in the same town as two of the previous murders  the second a physic who flew to silverton after he supposedly had a vision bout Rachel and the third a strong new friend Adam who pushed his way in to Cameron's group of friends just shortly before Rachel was murdered also Adam had a huge crush on Rachel. The ending is a surprising twist and almost ending with Cameron losing her own life.
